Revenue command centre / supervision pending
The seller who sees a funnel where people see a phone.
Meet a fictional confidence-first seller: part dial tone with opinions, part CRM historian, entirely convinced that a job title, one company update from 2019, and an unanswered email amount to a strategic relationship.

EDITORIAL POLICY
The confidence is real. The evidence was invited and did not attend.
This is a fictional composite — not a portrait of anyone, and not a verdict on sales work. The target is boundary-blind certainty: when contact becomes “rapport,” a hunch becomes research, and a clear no becomes somebody else’s second act.

“If it can be asked, it can be answered on this call.”
A stranger was asked to explain their industry, their budget, and cancer.
Some questions are not rude. They are just enormous.
THE NO-ERASER
A clear answer is one reinterpretation from being a maybe.
He respects objections deeply, provided they lead back to the original point.
- BOUNDARY — FINAL

Received on a Tuesday. Understood as a request for more context.
Auto: Not Interested → Overridden: nurturing - BOUNDARY — FINAL
“Please remove this number.”

HUMAN TRANSLATION None of it is unkind. Some of it is good company. All of it was said to a stranger who had not agreed to the conversation.
WHAT’S NEW
Release notes.
Shipped between the pipeline review and the end of the quarter.
TRAINING SOURCES
Everything above was learned from eight books.
The console did not invent any of this. It was trained on a shelf.
THE ACTUAL PLAYBOOK
The prospect is not a stage in a pipeline. They are a person having a day.
Good sales work can be direct, relevant, and human at the same time. None of this is news to a good seller — the question is who is stopping them.
Ask for the minute.
State the reason, check whether the timing works, and make a decline easy.
Hold the hunch lightly.
A hunch is a reason to ask, not a reason to conclude.
Accept the answer once.
“No” does not need decoding, reframing, or a new channel.
Ask what the target measures.
Eighty dials is an input. Nobody was ever helped by an input.
Could a person decline this without having to defend themselves?
If not, the dashboard is lying again.
DECOMMISSIONED PHRASES
Try saying the useful part.
- “Just checking in.”
- “Here is the one thing that changed since we spoke.”
- “Did I catch you at a bad time?”
- “Is now okay, or should I go away?”
- “Is this still a priority?”
- “I won’t follow up unless you ask.”
- “Companies like yours…”
- “I saw you opened a Lisbon office. Relevant, or am I off?”
SMALL PRINT
Frequently unasked questions.
Is this based on a real person?
No. It is a fictional composite of familiar sales-culture behaviours. The satire stays on flawed reasoning and its effects, not a person’s identity or private life.
Is this actual sales advice?
Only by accident. The fake workflow is intentionally dysfunctional. The corrections are just what a decent person would do anyway.
Are the books in the library real?
No. All eight titles, their authors, imprints, frameworks, statistics, endorsements and reviews are invented. They parody a genre, not any particular book or writer.
Will the page work without JavaScript?
Yes. Every module, case file, glossary item and corrective translation is static HTML. JavaScript only adds navigation state, a reading indicator, and optional visual emphasis.
